Me and my friend had the pleasure of staying the night at Ken-Ken's charming guesthouse during our Chiba getaway. We were greeted by the friendly host already at the station, kindly offered a ride to the inn and finally got to enjoy a peaceful night of sleep in a beautiful historical Japanese home. The beds were comfortable and we were met with great kindness and hospitality. I recommend any traveller who might cross its path to stay at Ken-Ken's. Lovely accommodation run by a japanese couple. It is not a hotel but more like a B&B. You can have a spacy room and great breakfast just made for you. They don't speak that much english but everything can be solved because of their great friendliness :) There are a few restaurant in walking distance but I think it's good to have a car that you can go to beach shops restaurants etc. They have a nice private outdoor spa which you can book for yourself. I definetly recommended this place.
