Yama-San was incredibly helpful - supported us with booking snowboarding lessons, renting our equipment and giving us advise on the slopes/ surrounding area. He also provided a coupon for a local onsen. The hotel itself is really close to Annapuri and Yama-San can drop you off there after breakfast. The other slopes are reachable by bus, and the bus stop is 200m from the hotel. The breakfast food provided is very filling and varied each day. Enjoyed sitting in the communal areas in front of the log fire watching the snowfall - very peaceful!

Customer service in M lodge is amazing, they’re super friendly, accomodating and will help you out on local resources. Will definitely stay again. Short walk to the slopes, they’ll help you with access to Ski hire etc… beautiful. They’ve washing machines downstairs and all the information you need

Clean, spacious and convenient proximity to the mountain, only one short bus a 3 minute walk away from the guest house.

Extra services related to skiing

Sayuri went above and beyond to make our first trip to Niseko extra pleasant. She was working with me helping me plan weeks before our arrival because many services did not speak English, and I needed to rent a car due to arriving late in the season and we were taking the train from Tokyo. She was very knowledgeable and a wonderful host. She carefully arranged her staff and schedule to assist with our pickup and drop-off from the train station and to get our rental car (actually talking directly with the rental car shop). I was very grateful for this help because it took a lot off my plate since this was only one of many reservations I was dealing with so it greatly reduced my stress levels! Our accommodations were not deluxe, necessarily, but we had everything we needed and a private, very nice, deep bathtub which we used nightly and was like having a private onsen so great feature. Also, she cooked us a delicious and varied breakfast every morning (bacon, sausage, eggs, toast etc). She is an amazing chef! It was the perfect way to start the day before going to the hill. There is an American-style restaurant attached to the hotel and the food is great. Very fresh, good variety. She was super gracious and I loved that she lived there with her daughter and dog, which was really cute. I would recommend this place with 11 stars if possible. Considering we paid less for one week (breakfast and pick up/drop offs etc included) what most places at the mountain base charge for just one night, I would say the value for the money is a 10/10 in my book. Exactly what we needed. Thank you Sayuri!

Beatiful veiws and great homely feel

Super close to the ski lift. The main area to hang out with other travellers. Very friendly and welcoming. Beds comfy. Lots of toilets. Everything very clean.
