Staying at this beachfront house was truly a dream. Booking direct was seamless and so worth it — from the moment we arrived, everything felt personal and relaxed. Falling asleep each night to the gentle sound of the waves was pure magic. It’s the kind of peacefulness you can’t find anywhere else. And waking up? Even better. Opening the door to the fresh sea breeze and enjoying breakfast right by the ocean was unforgettable. The view is breathtaking, the air is salty and fresh, and every morning feels like a gift. The home itself was comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. You can tell it’s cared for with love. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beachfront escape — this is it.

Everything was great, lovely (very responsive) hosts, beautiful accommodation, with very large bathroom, perfect breakfast. Our children loved the two cats, the dog and the peacock. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay a couple more.

The room was very clean and comfortable so we felt it like home from the first time. Hosts were very friendly and kind and they did their best for us, especially their daughter who speaks very good English and she helped us even with the informations we needed about our transportation. We have to mention also that they made for us a special breakfast from Sri Lanka that we wanted to try. We highly recommend this hotel for vacations!

This was a last minute booking but one of the loveliest places we stayed. Our stay was only for one evening but that was enough to feel like part of the family. Aroshina is always smiling. Such a lovely person. We mainly went there for the cooking class which was great. We cooked, chatted and laughed for hours. Definately hope to return one day soon! The beds and pillows were really comfy and quiet A/C.

This was my first time that i traveled to Sri Lanka.Owner of the hotel helped me to arrange transportation from air port and i checked from other places.When we compare with other application and tour counter .Hotel transportation was the cheapest.we relaxed in pool and it was amazing. So far, the best guesthouse I've stayed in. The place is clean, the room is big and comfortable with everything you need - there’s even a kitchen & a watching machine. Also there is a nice balcony where I loved to stay!! You can sit, cool down and relax while watch the surrounding wildlife. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast they prepared was excellent! Truly, a perfect place to rest in Unawatuna, away from the crowds. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Thank you for everything!

We loved everything at Dandelion property. Our room was big, comfortable, clean, bright. The hotel is located near the main road but it was quite silent, and we could sleep very well. Generator of the hotel worked very well during the power cuts. Very nice to have a working fridge keeping our water and fruits fresh ! The owner is the kindest we've met in Sri Lanka. Very good english, very good manners. Professional. Good tips. The room was cleaned during our stay with new sheets and towels. 100% recommended, probably our best homestay in the country.

    It is a small & simple hotel which is located on the cape. This cute cape with palms and crushing ocean waves is incredible. You can feast your eyes upon the turquoise ocean from the hotel teracce and balcony also. The dinner in Sri Lankan style was tasty. The host and staff - Sri Lankan family - were quite hospitable and caring. The ocean is quite rough here, but Wijaya beach with shallow waters is about 300-400 meters only.

    The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was a big, comfy and clean. The location is perfect, You have feet in the water. Chilling and watching the Ocean is absolutely unique . Overall wonderfull experience, would recommend.
