A family guesthouse that is part of a farm. Warm and friendly attitude, all rooms are spacious, well-equipped, very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast is good and satisfying, the delicious dinner is cooked by the owner. The farm also has a winery that produces fine wine. The price is very reasonable.

We had the most amazing stay at Casa do Poço. The house is huge, clean and very comfy, stocked with everything you might need. The view from the terrace is beautiful, we loved sitting out there with a glass of wine. We did a tour of the vinyard with the owner, it was great to learn more about how a family vinyard runs and the wine is delicious! We came with our 6 month old, who was very well catered for. Cannot recommend this place more! We hope to be back!

The owners & staffs are very  kind. Beautiful traditional mansions, bedding is clean and comfortable. The room is decorated with beautiful props. The dinner served with wine enjoyed on the terrace was excellent, and it was a meal that made you feel that all the food was carefully prepared. There was no elevator, but there was no difficulty moving the luggage some stairs. Thank you to the staff for moving the luggages.

This was the perfect little spot to spend a few days. Easy walking distance to everything and easy street parking. The room was comfortable, AC worked great, and it was very clean. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Very charming, family-run hotel in the hills of the Douro Valley with not only an extraordinary view on the bending river. But most strikingly - the house has personality which obviously reflects the owner’s passion for place, history and intimacy. Vintage items, personal photos here and there makes you feel like staying at a friends’ place who also has lovely recommendations at hand when you look for places to explore. And if you want to just relax and enjoy the view - the hotel’s pool and the surrounding terraces are just perfect to calm down. Moreover: one of us was sick during our stay - and the hosts were super helpful, understanding and supporting, this was extraordinary. Thank you so much!

Great location. Free parking on street in front of hotel. Working elevator so no need to carry luggage upstairs. Very spacious room, well heated, comfortable beds and pillows, quiet neighborhood - slept well. Please note to turn on hot water heater prior to showering (night before). Great breakfast. Hostess was the warmest/nicest lady we met on our entire trip! She couldn't do enough for us, was helpful (great restaurant suggestion), and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

Just returned from a delightful stay in Arramar! This small village stole our hearts with its charming bakeries and warm locals. Our host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing attentive service throughout our stay. While the hotel's decor may be a tad dated, its prime location and affordability more than make up for it. Our room was surprisingly spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted cozy beds with soft linens. Overall, a fantastic deal for a cozy getaway!

Great hosts - friendly, knowledgeable of the area and suggested places to see etc. air-conditioned room, comfortable bed . Off street parking for the motorbike. Had wonderful breakfast and dinner both nights - excellent chef! Signage to the property from the N312 was easy to follow. Highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable guest house, quite new and very functional. Excellent hosts, very friendly family happy to give advice on the area. We ate dinner in the kitchen and was excellent on both occasions. Breakfast also very good. Location about 20-30 minutes from lots of vineyards and other things to do. Shared areas are comfortable too.
