Very good location. Very nice host, was very nice to chat, nowadays in most of the places you do not meet people, just keys in the box. He gave some recommendations about places around. We did kayaking in the river. Was very nice.

The room was beautiful, and so was the view. The service was amazing. Breakfast was included and it is delivered to your room in a basket. Susana was an amazing host, and little Arya too! They both warmly welcomed us with a wide smile, alongside some cute gifts, a cool Praxis beer and many treats for our dog... and a puppy bed that served as a soft pillow. It's not easy to find amazing stays that are truly pet-friendly as well. Location-wise, it's walking distance from Coimbra's downtown though it might still be better to use a car since it's a bit of a climb. There's a supermarket, a few cafés, and most points-of-interest south-west of the river close-by. The room has it own entrance and a small patio, which is convenient (Susana lived upstairs), and it was very cozy and well decorated. While it does not have a kitchenet per-se, it actually felt more like an apartment, and would be great for shorter stays or those looking to eat out more often (the city has tons of great restaurants). The microwave and coffee-maker should fulfill most needs.

From the moment we arrived, the friendly hosts made us feel warmly welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The location of the property was breathtaking, surrounded by cultivated land, trees, and the serene Ceira River. The rustic yet modern character of the charming house added to its unique appeal. Each thematic room was tastefully decorated with traditional furniture and artifacts, creating a cozy and authentic atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the well-maintained outdoor pool, which provided a spacious and tranquil space to soak up the Portuguese sun and enjoy a refreshing swim.
