If this villa is currently available for your travel dates, take it, you will never regret! We visited Praslin in February 2024 in a company of 7 persons and absolutely loved our stay at the villa. We were warmly welcomed with coconuts and straws upon arrival, which was a delightful touch after a long flight. The house is enormous, incredibly cozy, and even more beautiful than in the photos. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room, meticulous cleaning and towel replacement every couple of days upon request, and a thorough clean once a week. The WiFi coverage was extensive and reliable, allowing us to stream movies and make video calls effortlessly. The villa also boasts its own covered parking space. The villa is equipped with the latest technology and has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Its location is unmatched on the island, making a car unnecessary. We were able to explore every corner of the island and visit all the beaches within a week without one. The best beaches are within walking distance, and more remote ones are accessible by bus, which is more frequent here than in Mahe, with the longest wait being just 15 minutes: A small beach perfect for wave jumping and sunset watching on our first day (1-2 minutes walk) The stunning Bounty beach of Anse Kerlan and the Capricorn restaurant (7-10 minutes walk) Four shops and a bus stop (3-5 minutes walk) The ability to hike to Anse Lazio 1 hour, respectively, through beautiful trails (or 30 minutes if taking the bus to its final stop) Anse Georgette and Anse Petit in 40 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive Grand Anse beach, about a 10-minute drive away Two excellent restaurants nearby, one in the 5-star Dhevatara Beach boutique hotel (highly recommended) and the other, Paradisier, also worthy of note. The garden features hammocks and a huge pool that is wonderful for swimming after sunset when the island quiets down.

Charles was a very friendly and accommodating host. The apartment is equipped with everything you need - a coffee machine, ice maker, washing machine, barbecue grill, condiments and many more. The view is amazing, overlooking the East side of the island with beautiful sunrises. The spacious outside area was the icing on the cake.

I was flying into the Seychelles on December 21 and looking for a small hotel near the port to stay overnight before joining my cruise ship on the 22nd. The Ridge Residence was ideal. They organised a shuttle pick up from the airport and let me check in early so I could rest after two long flights from the UK. The next morning I had the same taxi driver to take me to the cruise terminal.

Nice pool and really great garden with views overlooking Eden Island and Victoria harbor. Roland is very friendly host.

Hosts and staff. Balcony views and breakfasts. Also host organised excellent car hire at good price.

Oceanic View Apartments gave me a real feeling of safety and personal comfort. In my life I used to travel a lot and had seen many different self-catering establishments, expensive hotels and apartments. By the way, I stayed the first part of my trip at a good and quite expensive hotel, with breakfast and cleaning. Unfortunately, without such a fantastic view. One of the most important things over any kind of travelling is the safety of your stuff. Comfort comes after, because it is not comfortable to think that something can happen with expensive computers, cameras, documents and money. Oceanic View looks like a little fortress with walls, modern moving cameras, automatic switching light system and security. So my first and very important demand was satysfied. When I entered the territory, I got nervous, because my luggage was extreamly heavy! Two strong man helped me everywhere to put it up and down. But Maria and Brian helped me to put everything on the 3-d floor. They said: "Just relax, and don't worry". So it was true. My room had a really fantastic view. It was the biggest one. I didn't look the other rooms, but this one was good enought for everything. Cupboards for my many many dressings) Little table with big mirror, separate table with two comfortable chairs, nightstand, pretty evening lightening everywhere! The bad was also big and comfortable.Modern quite air conditioner, very gentle fan (believe me, fans can be very agressive), and of course two side fantastic view! This view showed me how people live on the Island and what they were doing. Very good experience! I would like also mention that you will be able to see night Beau Vallon and the Island. It is impossible to do it from the first line, just believe me. It was some kind of evening meditation when I was sitting very high in dark, drinking tasty cocktail, thinking about how things are going. No interruption, just relax.

Such a quaint place! Great Location near the airport. The owner was fab!!
