Staying at Dhiang's homestay was unbelievable!! She is the sweetest, kindest person ever, nothing was too much trouble. The homestay was beautiful and stylish and it was a privilege to be part of this boating community for a few days. The beaches are spectacular as are the sunsets.

Best location in koh kood, super nice family. Stayed with my 4 month and 4 year old and wife. they had a crib for us and I couldn't say amything could've been better.

A spacious and clean room! Comfortable bed with a tv with Netflix, for when you’re done with visiting the beaches and having food. I really enjoyed my stay at Koh Kood Bed’s. Great service and a very polite owner, Jay. I would definitely stay again at this place.

First of all we want to thank Dara Homestay for warm welcome and high higiene standarts. The Owners of the place/Staff was fluently talking in english and extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. You can take and eat as much as you like (they make perfect healthy yogurth bowls - you have to try it). Motorbike rent at the same property. Motorbikes was almost new. Room was clean and cleaned everyday. New AC units in every room + fans. A lot of activities for free to take for a beach (snorkling googles, balls, beach rockets with ball, etc.) Smart TV’s with screensharing and Youtube to use for free. 2 new water bottles everyday in the fridge. Overall the best hotel we have stayed in the Thailand. Also staff helped with the trip back to bangkok because our travel agent failed and almost ruined our trip back to Bangkok, but staff dealed profesionally with them and the trip last seconds was saved. We are not saying goodbye, we are saying till the next one!

This place is amazing 🤩 The staff are really nice and they clean every day. We rented a scooter with them and it was perfect. You have good WiFi, hot water, water to drink, coffee, tea, cacao, a fridge you can use and kitchen utensils if you need. The tent is big and comfy. The only thing is the noise and that depends on your neighbours who sometimes seem to forget that you can hear them pretty good as it's a tent... But anyway it's a really good quality for the price. We definitely recommend it !

We originally booked just two nights because we were a bit unsure – mainly due to the limited number of reviews and the fact that it’s called a “hostel.” But we ended up extending our stay by another four nights and had a wonderful time! The few reviews are simply because the place only opened last year. The term “hostel” is actually a bit misleading – there are just three private single rooms (with shared bathrooms), so it’s much quieter and more private than you might expect. The host also plans to build a shared dorm on the other side of the building in the future. One of the best things is the price – it’s very affordable compared to most other places on Koh Kood. Despite the low cost, everything was always clean, especially the bathroom. The host was super friendly and always responded quickly to messages. There’s a fridge and a small kitchenette with dishes downstairs in the shared area. Each room has a shelf for your stuff and a fan, and the doors are fitted with extra insect screens. (If you’re sensitive to bugs, you might want to bring a mosquito net – there’s room to hang one over the bed.) We had one of the two rooms upstairs and loved the terrace – it was perfect for hanging our hammock and gym rings, and we had plenty of space to dry clothes. Every evening, a few tokay geckos would show up, which – as you might know – are considered good luck in Thailand! The location is also great – relatively quiet, with a few restaurants, small shops, a laundry, and a pharmacy all nearby. Ao Taphao Beach is just 1.5 km away, and the whole island is easy to explore by scooter, which you can rent directly from the host at a fair price. In short: this is a budget-friendly place that delivers exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for more luxury, you’ll probably need to spend a bit more. But for what it is, we thought it was great – and we really don’t understand the negative reviews!

Silent spot in the jungle. Matteo is very attentive, helpful and friendly host. Very rich breakfast. Beach and fisherman's village in 2 minutes by motorbike. Motorbikes are directly available with the house.

The minute I arrived here I fell in love with this location. Why? You can feel the owners passion and love they have put in creating a unique place on earth. It is so well made and situated at the most perfect beach (I did a tour with the bike and there are some smaller, secluded ones but this is still one of the best). They offer you stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for free. I stayed two nights in the glamping area and the tent is just perfect for solo travelers. It’s large enough to stand, and has a fan and a comfortable bed and mosquito net. You can hear nothing but the ocean and it’s laterally a 10 meter walk to take a dip in the ocean. The shared bathroom and showers are very well made and clean - of course it still is a camping and there will be animals like ants. I also stayed 1 night at a room with AC as no more tent was available - and this was made with love too and offered much more luxury than the tent. Also I have to mention that the food is just amazing - unfortunately I did not have a chance to try everything but every dish was a highlight. Also a must try is the mango smoothie. Last but not least the team there is so friendly and nice. They take care of everything and are so helpful. From renting a scooter to organizing trips to recommending other restaurant. In short: don’t miss this place - it’s a little oasis and you will fall in love with it too if you are not into big resorts. Thanks for letting me experience this!

Great place to relax in style, great location, there are two beaches nearby, one with stones, you have to be careful, the second one has almost no stones. The bungalows themselves are quite nice and comfortable, they have everything you need, a bathroom, like many places in Thailand, the sea view is just great, there is a hammock and sun loungers right on the terrace of each bungalow, you can sit in the morning and in the evening, listen to the sea and relax. A very relaxing time. Were in June, were alone (there was one couple for 2 days). Great location, near Siam beach, Klon Hin bitch, shops and cafes are also close. We rented a motorcycle right in the Resort and rode around the island, the island and the Resort really liked its atmosphere and nature. In the evening, if you are sitting on the terrace, take insect repellant. An excellent employee of the resort - Min, shared music with us and served delicious meals more than once.
