It is very close to the airport, so great for people not staying in zanzibar long. It is a bit hidden, but they do offer airport pick-ups so that isn't an issue. The room was very clean and tidy, and included air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and always happy to help. There is also a chef on site, if you don't feel like going out to eat.

It was wonderful being able to spend nights in an authentically traditional building with traditional rooms and furniture. It was an excellent way to explore the traditional architecture and decoration of old Zanzibar. The location is perfect. Just behind the famous praying temple and just 5 minutes to the water shores. The owner is very friendly and always eager to make your stay comfortable. The price is reasonable given the excellent location and the traditional environment. This place is a must!

Right in the heart of Stonetown. Spacious room with excellent kitchen. Good air conditioning and overhead fans in the bedroom. Everything you could want for a very reasonable price.
