The room was clean and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and the beach. Albert is a superb and super friendly host, the unit was clean and well equipped. The location is in a calm area but not far away from the beach and grocery stores as well as the vast Canal Walk shopping center. Overall a great location if you don't want to be in the touristic hot spots. Getting to the city bowl is a matter of few minutes by Uber or the myCiTi-Bus.

What didn't we like! Alison is THE most fabulous host and her property is stunning. The room is fully equipped with a full size fridge, a very comfy king bed, and a wonderful bathroom setup. If you're starting your travels in SA and are looking for a tranquil starting point in an extremely safe neighbourhood, I highly recommend Invergara. You're also within walking distance to a delicious cafe that serves a wonderful breakfast/lunch. Another giant perk...there are two senior dogs who are the most wonderful company you didn't know you needed. We've traveled all over the world and have never felt so immediately at home. We can't wait to come back!!
