This family-operated guest house is situated in Tulfes, 20 min outside of Innsbruck by car. It features rooms with satellite TV, a private bathroom and hairdryers; some have a balcony. I was surprised how wonderful this small town is and the hotel was located just next to beautiful hiking paths, few great restaurants and a wonderful grocery store where you could eat as well. The rooms are small but very clean, cozy and well equipped. I would like to come back there soon and stay longer.

Amazing stay in an excellent hotel. The hotel is beautifully situated in the foothills of the Alps. The room was spacious, clean and quiet, and cool enough even without air conditioning (in July). Breakfast was free, and delicious. The best thing was the outdoor pool - so lovely to go for a refreshing dip after being out hiking in the mountains. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving numerous dinner and hiking recommendations. Another excellent aspect was access to a free bus into Innsbruck, stopping just outside the hotel, every 30 mins. It meant the best of both worlds - being able to get into town easily, but also having the beautiful countryside and outdoor pool!

Landgasthof Bogner by myQuartier combines Tyrolean hospitality and regional, homemade specialities with a beautiful location and an impressive view of the surrounding mountains. Great rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast. We stayed for 2 nights, could leave some stuff in the hotel and came back after a few days after our hiking trip. The sauna is a real nice luxury bonus (especially after the hike)

Accessibly designed Jagerwirt is a typical Tyrolean guesthouse in the village of Volders with a long tradition for over 500 years. It offers free parking and a rich breakfast buffet. It was a perfect location to start a multiday hike in Alps; midway Hall in Tirol and Wattens. Food was great and the owner was welcoming and cheerful.
