Re-opening in July 2017, Genuss-Pension Herti enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Übelbach, a 3-minute drive from the A9 motorway exit Übelbach. Owners were really nice, smiling and helpfull, really good breakfast, quiet and warm rooms.

The rooms are spacious and modern, with lots of storage spaces, beds mega relaxing to provide a good sleep and the kitchen and bathroom sparkling clean. Great location with top notch public transportation to every part of the city, you basically don't need a car for moving around, while zipping on a bike, as many locals do, is fun and efficient. The area is safe and very quiet, with a large playground around, many restaurants, supermarkets and a lot of other convenient points of interest. The hosts are also extremely kind, hospitable and discreet.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything easy going and friendly! We have been there for easter, for breakfast the Boss himself treated a special ham from the butchery in the house. Cut it himself, a really lovely gesture. Rooms have been clean and nice. Short walking distance to the inner city.

That is the perfect place to stay for a night on your road trip! Beautiful nature, peaceful area, good accommodation, nice hosts, comfortable bed (very important for me). We didn't have dinner but we tried the beer and apricot dessert, both were lovely!
