Make sure you stay for lunch or dinner: the award given by Gault&Millau is perfectly deserved, this is the best place to eat in the region. Make sure also to book in advance, the place is famous in the region.

Nice view and nice host. Gives us a good introduction to hallstatt and recommend loads of really good restaurants. Little gift to us before we go. This is what makes a trip to hallstatt special
