My ferry got cancelled the day I was supposed to arrive and I called the host letting her know, she was extremely helpful and kind and even refunded me the night I could not arrive. We enjoyed out stay a lot!

CandE’s Guesthouse se găsește în Kingscote. Se oferă la locație parcare privată. Craig was a wonderful host. We got lost heading there at night and he helped us get settled. His recommendations were also spot on and we managed to see all the wildlife in the area, whether in the trees on the property (koalas, Kimmy, Jimmy, and Ducky) or on the coast (dolphins). Would highly recommend this property and any other the other CandE properties on the island. Tips for travelling to KI: - No small car hire even if your party is small - gravel roads for some of the prettiest locations. - Get the KI tourist booklet at the airport - only Telstra gets connection, so the island map is a lifesaver. - Definitely reach out to Craig for island recommendations :)

Wedgetaildown is an extraordinary destination. The accommodation may be the best VRBO/AirBnB we have ever stayed in. It is a perfect size for one or two people. The unit is lovely inside, with very comfortable furniture and beautiful artwork, and with huge windows looking out over the wild property. The unit is perfectly appointed and supplied. Although it attached to the main house, you wouldn't know it as the rammed-earth walls prevent any noise transmission, as well as keeping the room cool in summer. We found the kitchen to be well designed, and it had everything that we could want, including a delicious basket of breakfast food. The shower was delightful, and there was a washing machine, which came in very handy!
