Set in San Ignacio, less than 1 km from Cahal Pech, Hilltop Horizon Guesthouse offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of space (including a lockbox, desk and somewhere to hang your clothes). The shower was hot which was a luxury! The location is about 10 min walk to the centre of town (it’s at the top of a fairly steep hill) and there are a few restaurants nearby. Sonia who runs the guesthouse was SO kind - she was really flexible when I was delayed arriving due to illness and was always on hand to answer any questions/help organise trips/transport. Would definitely recommend.
