I wish I’d had more time to stay there and use the deck that overlooks the estuary!

We had room 8 with a beautiful view and a private terrace. We spent our entire rest day here enjoying the restful atmosphere and watching the tide go in and out. We made use of the lovely common spaces in the hostel as well. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in Chile, with hearty homemade seed bread, fresh fruit and yogurt, and eggs made to order. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Sandra’s hostel was basic but very clean and cared for. The location was great for is. A short walk from the busy streets and right across the water.

El Urco Chiloé - Hostal y Cabaña ligt in Ancud en biedt een tuin en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Elke kamer heeft een patio met uitzicht op de tuin. I loved my stay here. The room was huge and comfortable. Lots of covers, sheets, duvets to keep you warm. Very quiet area, perfect for a good sleep. The view from the room was super nice - looked out over the water and the cemetery. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, etc and the basic cooking supplies were very helpful (Oil, salt). There was tea and coffee available which is also a nice touch. Bathrooms were well, hot shower, clean, well stocked. I would recommend staying here. And only a ten min walk to the bus station !

The owners are really kind and great to talk with. The hostel itself is very clean, the beds are really comfortable, bathrooms are nice and the kitchen is really excellent. It has everything you need in abundance and the equipment is clean and modern. I highly recommend people stay here in Castro.
