The best host, very kind and helpful. We loved the frogs that live around the accomodation and can be seen early morning. It's definitely worth the stay, even the accomodation is close to the highway which is little loud during the night.

The house is located in a beautiful garden, basically your own private nature reserve with sloths, birds, frogs, aguri and more.

This is a lovely place with a private deck on the ocean. It is coral, so not a beach for swimming - but Playa Negra is a beautiful black sand beach a mere 10 minute walk away - excellent for swimming. We had the air conditioned rooms with floor to ceiling windows looking out at the jungle and ocean as well as a lovely swimming pool. The back courtyard not only a few steps from the ocean, but also full of hammocks and wildlife, daily visits from howler monkeys and tons of birds. A beautiful place to relax. The breakfast was delightful, the staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and very close to everything in town. Many delicious restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The national park, hiking and snorkeling all within a few minutes walk. We LOVED this place and can't wait to go back.

Lovely place in a quiet town. We felt very welcome, and accommodations were easily made when we wanted extra nights and needed some help. And very cute dogs too:) Place was nice and clean and the kitchen was equipped for our needs!

The host was absolutely outstanding! I booked this hostel 15 minutes before we turned up as the place we arrived at beforehand was covered in bedbugs. Jose was able to accommodate 14 people at the drop of a hat as he has just refurbished and renovated the hostel. The showers were brilliant, the guest space was huge. Coffee and tea facilities available all day. Several fans in the room. Washing service available. Jose couldn’t do enough for us!
