At the guest house, all units have bed linen and towels. This is a cute little place. It is not fancy, but so quaint and charming. It was perfect for our first few nights in Bavaria.

It is conveniently near hiking areas, cycling paths and lakes, 10 km from the Bad Reichenhall exit of the A8 motorway, and 17 km from Salzburg. The location is very good if you have a car. We went for Christmas, and I was very beautiful. The owner is very kind and helpful. Ideal if you travel with children. If I find myself in Austria again, I would definitely stay at the same place

These classically decorated rooms are bright and colour, with wooden floors and wooden furnishings. Each room provides an en suite bathroom, and all rooms include a TV and some of them have balcony. Very clean, comfortable, and cozy. Front desk reception and breakfast buffet waitress were very friendly and welcoming. Easy check in and check out with parking on property. The room was spotless and quiet at night. Breakfast was fresh, nicely laid out buffet and had everything we wanted for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. It was clean and comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming. The view was amazing. Good location, very close to the train station.

Super clean, excellent breakfast. Great views of the mountains and the village church. Located in the center of town near hiking trails and cog wheel train to the top of the zugspitze.

From the moment we checked in, I absolutely loved every corner of this guesthouse — the interior design, the thoughtful decoration, the color palette, the quality of the furnishings — everything was done with great taste and care. You can really feel the host’s heart and dedication behind it all. (As an Airbnb host myself, I truly admire how this host goes the extra mile!) The host was very responsive, even though it’s a self check-in/out guesthouse and we didn’t meet in person. Communication was always fast and helpful. We were even offered an early check-in without requesting it — such a warm and thoughtful gesture, even though we arrived at 4 PM. It left a great first impression. The house has a beautiful mix of antique charm and modern comfort. Our room was tastefully decorated, well-organized, and had everything we needed. The bathroom was small but very well equipped — good water pressure and a reliable water heater. The bed, linens, pillow, and blanket were all incredibly comfortable and spotless. We stayed for just 2 nights (though I honestly wish we could stay for months!). The entire place was sparkling clean. Common areas like the kitchen were cleaned daily, and trash was taken out regularly. The kitchen itself was fully equipped — perfect for making a simple breakfast. Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, induction stove, pots, pans, oil, salt, cutlery — everything you might need was there. My absolute favorite spot was the balcony. Every floor has a lovely one, and our room even had a small private balcony. The larger balcony was perfect for enjoying a coffee or tea, reading a book, or simply sitting and soaking in the peaceful view. I can only imagine how magical it must be in autumn with golden leaves or during the wintertime.
