We stayed in a double room with a pull out couch for the two kids to sleep on. The double bed was comfortable and I liked that there were two separate mattresses, so I couldn't feel my husband moving around. The pull out couch was fine for the kids, but adults would find this very uncomfortable, with very hard mattress. The shower was great and appeared to be in part accessible. The room had a coffee maker but no hot water heater for tea, even though there were tea bags (?). The check in and check out process was very easy and the app worked well. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the bus goes at regular intervals from the S-bahn. The hotel's location is very far from Hamburg city centre, but in a gorgeous location, right on the beach of the Elbe, lots of green around, the beautiful old town of Blankenese, a ferry connection into town just a few minutes' walk away, and very very quiet. Altogether a splendid stay.

This family-run bed & breakfast hotel is located just 800 metres from Hamburg Airport and 150m from Fuhlsbüttel Nord Underground Station. Soundproofed rooms offer free Wi-Fi. This is the perfect hotel at walking distance to the airport and U-bahn! Wonderful connection to the main train station. Rooms are big, quiet; sleeping is absolutely possible. Good Wifi connection! The staff is very kind!!!
