The Pimampiro was an amazing place to stay on my trip to San Cristobal. The room was large, the bed was enormous, the shower always had hot water & a very quiet fridge ( some are really noisy at night). Breakfast was very good quality products & they catered to my dietary needs with understanding & kindness. The hosts were exceptional people, Andrea was very attentive, helpful & informative in all aspects of my stay. I couldn’t have asked for more from her or her father, who was very professional and friendly in his interactions. I would love to stay again if I return to Cristobal.

A balcony with sea view, a cable flat-screen TV and air conditioning are featured in some units. Such lovely, welcoming and accommodating staff. The room was very clean and comfortable great location, close to the busier parts of the town but on a quiet side street away from the noise. We had a fabulous view of the mariner from our private balcony. Great breakfast also with a view. We came back for a second stay after a Liveaboard and were very glad we did.

Jackson and her wife made me feel like home, they are very kind, friendly and they were always willing to help us. Good breakfast everyday, they rent bikes for good price and also can offer tours. Walking distance to center was 10 min. I enjoyed my staying with them.

Air conditioning, hot showers, big rooms with storage space, comfy beds, clean with daily housekeeping, filtered drinking water, free breakfast every morning on a beautiful terrace, walkable to the main part of town but far enough removed for quiet, laundry available, quick communication. But best of all, the hostel hosts Trudy and Ivan were the most wonderful people and completely made our stay. Ivan has lived his whole life on San Cristobal and worked as a fisherman, and Trudy is descended from the first descendants of Floreana Island (also in the Galapagos). They are so kind and friendly, helped us with information and recommendations, and we so appreciated getting to learn about them and their story. If you stay at Hostal Cattleya, you support a true local family. We love you Trudy and Ivan!

We had such a lovely stay at Hotel Starfish. The rooms were comfortable and clean and it was a quick walk to anywhere you wanted to go. One of the best things was the amazing service by the staff. Carlos greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had the best time. He had so much information and helped us with tours and organizing activities. He was even so kind as to help us organize tours for our return to Santa Cruz. He truly made our stay spectacular!

At the inn, each room includes air conditioning and a safety deposit box. Beautiful corner room with lots of natural light and a great breeze. The shower was good, brekky was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Just outside of town, maybe a 10 minute walk. Would recommend— great value for money!
