We are cyclists and Chalet Les Myrtilles is quite a climb up from Albertville. Philippe not only recommended a great restaurant but made a reservation and drove us there! Breakfast was great.

The room is very private with a balcony to sit and enjoy the mountain view in the morning and evenings. Everything in the room is modern. It is also part of a very nice restaurant. I enjoyed dinner here. It's a must try. Parking is free and plenty. 20 minutes slow walk down hill into town which was also a treat.

Featuring a shared lounge and views of mountain, Ferme de la grande Moucherolle is a guest house situated in a historic building in Villard-de-Lans, 31 km from World Trade Center of Grenoble. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The guest house has private entrance. Hard to be critical when everything was comfortable clean and considerate. We had an accident and the hosts helped us book a Dr appointment and we are very grateful. Just FYI. A ski town is a great place to have a sport I jury.. super breakfast lovely room but the hosts go the extra mile to make sure you have what you need. From map books to wildflower guides an cycling information. This is the place. Do not hesitate. A gem in the quiet countryside.
