Also, they can do laundry if needed and it was much appreciated. Room was comfortable, spacious and AC working as well as comfortable bed. Paulo made sure we were not missing anything and felt just like at home.

Even just sitting on the balcony and watching the fishing boats or the resident dugong play with a sea turtle is a great way to pass the time. Jecky is a great host and has great English. You can arrange/discuss all your travels and activities with him via WhatsApp prior. And his wife is a great cook! This is a unique opportunity you will be lucky to have. It’s a homestay (not some bland hotel experience) so come ready for adventure.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and there is a small seating area immediately outside the room on a tiled verandah where a lovely and filling breakfast is served. The aircon and mosquito net were both great. Most of all l received such a warm welcome from Tommy, his wife Chia and the grandparents who were all so friendly to me during my stay and helped me improve my Indonesian. Tommy was extremely helpful and kind - he went and got cold beer for me, gave me a few lifts, and organised a share car for me to Moni. I felt very happy and comfortable here and would come again. I stayed 3 nights in total Phone reception was good.
