Yes, the location is far from the village, and it's scary and dangerous to walk back to the guesthouse alone at night. But don't hesitate to ask the host for a ride, they are always willing to help! Very good place to just relax and chill out.

Place is nice and quiet and just a short walk to main part of town. Jungle trek was a great experience and his young helper Lana went out his way to make sure we had a great experience. Would highly recommend

The whole place is a 10/10 and the food on the premises is delicious😋😋😋 We would like to give a big thank-you to Putri for the great communication from the date we booked and throughout our stay and to Nani for always greeting us daily at the reception/restaurant area with her genuine smile. “Big SHOUT OUT to Jack and Rico for being excellent guides during our two day jungle trekking…..and of course a big thank you to Junet our amazing taxi driver who picked us up at the airport and at the end of our stay drove us to lake Toba in the most professional way possible🙏🙏😊😘🦧

The snorkeling in front of the bungalows is good. Borja and YunYun are very accomodating. Services like scooter rental and laundry are offered. There is also a dog (give him some nice scratches to become friends). The bungalows were also very nice.

Snídaně dobrá, personál perfektní. Majitel André nám zajistil taxi z letiště, při odjezdu do Berastatagi sdílené auto za dobrou cenu. Zorganizoval pro nás také 1 denní výlet do džungle, který byl perfektní. Doporučujeme.

The hosts are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The house is very nice, rooms are good and cool. They have breakfast and diner options. It’s what a guest house should be. We recommend this accommodation 👌🏻

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a poskytuje zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a bar. This was such an amazing place. The owners Sarah and August welcomed us very friendly. We had a pickup at the bus station. The rooms were nice, spacious and comfortable. The food was tasty and for reasonable price. We did 3 days trekking with guide Bai and friends and had so much fun. We saw tons of animals including wild orangutan, siamangs, argus and turtles. The camping in nature was simple but very fun and the food was amazing. We felt like in a family. Thank you 🙂
