I’m so happy I’ve chosen this guesthouse for my travel. The first advantage is location of course. This part of city can go by walk or by bike only so it was so important to stay in convenient area. Room wan cleaned good and everything was neat. Owner and his sons were so kind and helpful. They do all requests so good. One son of owner even helped me to go one very ancient temple very early because I couldn’t get there alone. Very good restaurant Dolphin just on the side of hotel. My first travel to Varanasi was amazing and mostly of this hotel. Probably next time I’ll stay here also. I recommend to chose this hotel

The stay is far from the usual hustle bustle of the main Varanasi city , but you are very close to Buddhist , Thai and Korean temples and have lot to explore , the stay felt like home , i had a great time , the owner is kind and is readily available with whatever you need , i had only chai and Maggi there since I mostly ate out but it was really nice , will definitely stay here again if I wish to explore Sarnath and Varanasi !

For us Ashirvad Homestay was a welcoming and quiet refuge in an otherwise chaotic city. The location, a bit removed from the clutter near the river, is in an almost rural setting across the road from a park. Aman, the manager, was exceptionally helpful, changing money, arranging an airport transfer, setting up aboat trip and on Day One, negotiating a tuk-tuk for us. Trust me, if you do any of these activities, let Aman set them up for you.

He was very helpful and informative and even helped organise daily sightseeing trips along with transportation. When I felt unwell one evening,he immediately offered to take my husband to the pharmacy on his motorcycle, for medication. Nice homely feel, very clean and peaceful.

We needed important medication and he directly brought us to the next pharmacy. After that he showed us a nice Place to Watch the Aarti-ceremony and stayed With us. He was a Kind man always willing to help us, helped us to book a boat tour and arranged our way to the bus station.

The place is very clean, in a calm neihgborhood (far enough to have silence, but 10min walk to assi haat). The wifi was good, and there was hot shower.
