This was a great place to stay in the westfjords! The common room has everything you need in order to prepare your dinner/breakfast. The place itself was clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful and its not too far away(within walking distance) from a hotspring which is great to relax after a day of exploring!

It was warm and had a kitchen that was perfectly adequate to cook a meal. The bathroom was modern with a generously sized shower. There were two bathrobes as well as towels. It was quiet and with parking right outside. The house is up the hill from the harbour and it was a bit cold (snow everywhere) to walk to the hot pools on the shore so we took the car, but I would estimate a 10 min walk in summer.

I really enjoyed the breakfast, there were fresh and a wide variety of meats/breads/fruits. The coffee and tea was on offer all day. It was like home away from home. The rooms are very modern and was well kept, it had almost looked like I was the first resident also! I would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful stay. There is a very well equipped kitchen, oven and microwave for use. The sitting space would allow for some fun card/board game nights I’d imagine!! The town is very gorgeous to explore too with a fun bird art trail and plenty of spots for photography.

Birds calling and waves were relaxing. The person managing the Gust house, was very helpful and pleasant. Easy walking distance to any part of this small community.
