熱海温泉 実の別荘 features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 1.6 km of Atami Sun Beach and 27 km of Hakone-Yumoto Station. Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. The guesthouse had everything you could wish for: books, computers, a guitar and even some sauces to use in the fridge. Coffee powder as well. So many things to do. It really felt homey as well.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, clean and cute rooms, that you could even separate by a moveable wall to create some privacy between the beds. Would stay there again!

A recently renovated property, 峠のお宿 巧の実家 Magome Guest House, Along the Nakasendo Trail is situated in Nakatsugawa near Magome Observatory, Magome Wakihonjin Museum and Toson Memorial Museum. The owner is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We're a group of 8 adults. The owner picked us up from Nakatsugawa station with 3 cars. One to send our luggage back to the guest house. The other 2 cars brought us to the supermarket to buy ingredients for us to cook our dinner at night. Upon our request, they dropped us at Magome town, and brought our ingredients back to the homestay and arranged nicely in the refrigerator. The next day, the owner again helped us to send our luggage to our next accommodation. The homestay has everything we need. The kitchen is fully equipped. The owner prepared a lot of free food and drinks for us. We also love the outdoor wooden bathtub, outdoor dining area and the hammocks. They have cherry tree too. Must be really beautiful in the spring.

They have a precious house in a privileged location with amazing facilities. They were keen to help with anything we needed and were proactive on helping us with our travel plans. The food is also something worth mentioning, they cook delicious meals with locally produced products.

Great size room with a view. Location is 15 minutes relaxing walk to the station. Excellent location away from the busy tourist place. 24hrs Family Mart just at the corner 1 minute away. Host is super friendly and helpful.

The rooms are cute and comfortable. There’s a big public kitchen and common room. Perfect for singles, friends, or couples. And a nice short walk to a chairlift where you can buy a lift ticket and hire a locker if needed.

16 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area in Hakuba, 白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and spa facilities. The staff here is very friendly, the room is clean. They will try their best accommodate and arrange pick up and drop off accordingly.
