Lo staff è gentile e sempre disponibile in caso di necessità. La camera è spaziosissima e curata, in vero stile giapponese. I bagni in comune sono comodi e puliti. Forse posizionerei qualche doccia ai piani, ma per il resto esperienza più che positiva.

Some people won't like that it's 20 to 30 minutes walk from the train station, but I found walking through the neighborhood streets really great. It''s located directly next door to a large supermarket and a kitchen is also provided so you can self cater. There are also several great local neighborhood restaurants within five to 10 minutes away. The staff are very accommodating. Everything is new and the beds were very comfortable

Also, the host provided us with some breakfast (coffee, break, milk, bananas, ...) so we could eat something before start walking the trail.

Perfect as a starting point for the Nakasendo hike. The owners, Yuki and Ken, are two great people, always friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. There is a quiet and warm atmosphere in the house. We also made pleasant acquaintances among the guests present. We had dinner and breakfast in the house. We recommend it to have a complete experience and because the food is very good and well taken care of, in perfect Japanese style. We hope to have a chance to come back to Sakanomichi one day.

Heaps of space, really comfortable with a great location in the town. The host is really friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. He helped us out with transport and food recommendations, organised luggage transfer for us and dropped us where we needed to be on our last day. A great bonus was the record player and a few records to spin in the evening!
