Situated within 1.2 km of Tomori Beach and 5.9 km of Amami Park, 奄美ゲストハウス宇宿サンライズビーチ provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Amami. I’d recommend to stay here. Take san is very accommodating and helpful. Me hade me feel like I was at home.

With its eclectic decoration and stunning view of Sakurajima, this was a fantastic place to stay in Kagoshima. Our room was small but clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the little breakfast bag (muffin and fruit) provided every morning. Would definitely stay again. Beautiful beach just behind the hotel.

Situated in Yakushima and only 700 metres from Isso Beach, 屋久杉楼 七福 features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. If you love staying at a traditional Japanese house and sleeping on futon, this is the perfect place for you. The host is super friendly, speaks perfect English and helps you wherever she can. The kitchen and common space are clean and well equipped. The shower room and toilet are also really new.

Offering mountain views, Yakunoyado Taguchi is an accommodation set in Yakushima, 37 km from Yakusugi Land and 1.1 km from Yakushima Environmental Culture Village Center. Great place! And really good food

Sisehoovivaatega Guesthouse Coco Garage asub Kirishimas, 5,8 km kaugusel Kirishima Jingu pühamust ja 19 km kaugusel Ebino platool. Everything was amazing! The host was incredibly kind and helpful. Every time I had a question—both before and during our stay—the response was instant and clear. We truly felt welcomed. The house itself was absolutely charming, with a magical atmosphere that perfectly suited the surroundings. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit, offering us a warm and cozy welcome. We were genuinely sad that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!

Yuki was so incredibly helpful leading up to our arrival, with advice and information and even booking our ferry tickets from Kagoshima for us. And during our stay, Yuki and Toru were just wonderful, kind, attentive hosts. (They live right next door so it is almost an extension of their home.) The place is incredibly clean and cozy including the shared bathrooms. The location is a bit more remote, which we wanted as it’s so quiet (would be easier to have a car, but the bus also stops there, just need to learn the schedule, which is quite easy - we used the bus to get around.) Foodwise, the dinners were delicious and super fresh and they source most of the ingredients themselves (grow most of the produce in their garden, and go fishing for your sashimi so it’s fresh from that day!) Breakfast is simple and delicious if you want it, and they’ll also prepare a lunch for you to take on a hike if desired. Would highly recommend.

My stay for my arrival and departure after exploring yakushima. Nice staff offers coffee during check-in process. Location is close to the Ferry Jet foil port, restaurants to eat out or Grocery store near the port, souvenirs shops and an Outdoor store for any hiking/outdoor needs in Anbo area. Comfortable space with in-house clothing, shared bathroom, showers and laundry. Pamphlets of information. Host will help with any question. Overall, it was a peaceful comfortable stay 👍👍
