The location is great and the close towns around are just a walk away. If you like walking, its your place. The serenity , quietness and peace all around are stunning. We could feel the love put into the house during its remodeling. Admiring the way to stay as close as possible to original materials and way of building it. The living room is great and wants you to stay overlooking the rice patties all day long.

From the moment we arrived, Manami-chan went the extra mile and made our stay truly memorable. Her home is uniquely attached to her family’s temple, which she lovingly cares for, and the atmosphere reflects her warm, gentle spirit. The decor is impeccable—calm, cozy, and soothing—so it feels like the house itself is Manami: thoughtful and kind. Every detail has been considered: a comfortable tatami bedroom with soft, plush mattress and linens, a full kitchen, washer & dryer, and even a little mini-spa corner to unwind. There are two toilets (a rare convenience in Japan) and the location is great for exploring. Manami helped us rent e-bikes and gave us wonderful day-trip plans and cultural insights we would never have discovered on our own. Staying here felt like touching the true spirit of old Japan while enjoying modern comforts. For us, it was a dream place. If you value kindness, authenticity, and quiet beauty, book Oteragoto—you’ll feel Manami’s heart in every corner. She truly deserves all the guests who will love this place as much as we did. 10/10. Tsushima Miuda Pension is located next to the beach and the hot springs. The huts are simple, but comfortable and the shower water pressure is great. The kitchen comes with a cooking plate and a rice cooker, which was very convenient for me.

They upgraded our room when we got there. Also even our plan was not included meal, I asked for next day breakfast at last moment because town bakery will be closed on Wednesday, they modified breakfast for us,. It was so nice. Also our room has the best view facing harbour.
