The location is perfect, near the station and the park. It is a more relaxed and calm place so there’s not much crazy social activity, if you’re loooking for some peace this is your place :)

Both hosts were super nice and welcoming :D They also recommended a lovely izakaya to have dinner! Breakfast was amazing, and the view from the living room was great! They also decorated the guesthouse for Halloween, which was cute! :) We would love to stay here again! :D

This is an excellent Ryokan, not too far from Nara and on the way to Yoshino. The hosts are extremely friendly and will provide you, if you wish, with a Japanese dinner (seafood based) and either a Japanese or Western breakfast - both incur an additional cost. You can also self cater. The place caters for just one set of guests at a time. You have a main room with a table, piano, TV and WiFi, and a room for sleeping in. You leave these rooms to go to the toilet and kitchen area. Shower and bath is around the other side of the building. The house is quite old and is therefore cold overall, however, within your rooms there heaters which keep it very cosy and there are heating mats for the beds. Book here to enjoy a stay in a traditional Japanese house! You can also request a pickup from the train station.

This was the most calming, beautiful and clean guesthouse! We only stayed one night and when we got to the house we were so sad we didn’t book longer!!! The host is so kind and clean! Our room was amazing, clean, the toilet and bathroom are modern - it’s a traditional but modern and warm house - and I loved the common area/living room. Everything we needed was provided, from tea to towels. It’s a great location for exploring the lower, less touristy parts of Japan, but simply beautiful!!!! shares Nara. I hope we can stay here again when we visit Japan again. (Original) This was the most calming, beautiful and pure guesthouse! SLOW HOUSE NARA poskytuje pokoje v destinaci Nara. Jen 1,3 km odtud se nachází Nara vlakové nádraží a Iwafune Shrine je 19 km daleko. Very good value. Traditional style, but with comfortable off the ground lounge chairs and a private bathroom. Very convenient location.

Had a wonderful stay in the guesthouse, one of the best ones out there. The owner preparea a bathtub everynight for the guests. Overall the place is very cozy

Guesthouse Naramachi se nachází v destinaci Nara. Nara vlakové nádraží se nachází 1,6 km daleko a Iwafune Shrine 20 km. Very comfortable, spacious room. Exceptional host. He is so friendly and recommended an amazing sushi restaurant. You can tell he really takes pride in his ryokan. The common area was lovely to spend time in and it was no issue storing our bags. The location is also easy to get to by bus from the JR station and it's a short walk to the main Nara sights (or you can rent his bikes for cheap). So welcoming and comfy. 10/10 recommend.

Everything! The hosts are very nice and caring. The breakfast was amazing and perfectly prepared. The bedding was very comfortable, the bathrooms and toilet extremely clean. The living room was very cosy and nicely decorated. The location was 3 minutes walk from the train station, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very helpful the whole time,they even organised for my luggage to be transported to the next hotel. Overall, an amazing stay, highly recommended!!!
