We stopped here during the Ohenro pilgrimage. The host was incredibly friendly. The beds were very comfortable. Fresh towels, high-quality shower gel, and shampoo were provided. There’s also a spacious co-working area and a very friendly ginger cat. Highly recommended!

It's not a traditional hostal, but rather a house redesigned to receive guests. I say this in a positive way: it has a definitely homey feel. It was comfortable and pleasant, with everything necessary for a quiet stay before starting our pilgrimage.

I like a softer bed and many are on the harder side in Japan, the beds were perfect and cozy after a day of riding the Shimanami. I only spend one night but I wish I could have spend more time. Ryu is so nice and gave really good advice. I would definitely come back if I have the chance. The region is amazing.

Set in Ino, 28 km from Odo Dam Museum, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The hosts Yoshiko and David were incredibly friendly and caring. Breakfast served was wonderful, egg, fruit and yoghurt. The house had been carefully been renovated 5 years ago. The setting in the valley is wonderful. We could swim in the river just 2 min walk from the house.
