We were travelling around on motorbikes and found this fantastic guesthouse, which was very clean, with spacious rooms and all amenities required within striking distance to Mt Aso. The owner was very helpful, even helping us book ferry tickets to Shikoku, and the attached Izakya had great food and atmosphere.

I like a softer bed and many are on the harder side in Japan, the beds were perfect and cozy after a day of riding the Shimanami. House was super clean and modern, and well equipped. we loved the comfort of sleeping on plush futons in the tatami bedrooms. Unit was only 3 minutes from a huge super mart. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely spacious apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and even a deep hot tub to soak after a long day. The apartment was extremely clean. And the owner is very helpful and easy to contact. While I don't expect people in another country to speak my language, we were very happy that the owner spoke excellent English. We liked it so much we are coming back again after our pilgrimage around Shikoku.
