And the room was very clean! - The location is very quiet so you'll have an amazing sleep. Having said that, it's only a 10-15min walk to the Durian roundabout / centre of town. It's even closer to a lovely pond and the southern part of the riverside, which had an amazing night market when I went there. - I liked it so much (as well as the Kampot area) that I extended my stay.

Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and brunch and specialises in African cuisine. We stayed as a couple for 4 nights. It’s a bit out of the city center but no problem at all, you can easily call Grab Tuktuk or rent a Motobike at the accommodation for an affordable price. We were amazed by how clean our bungalow was. And the owners were super friendly and helpful.

I can't express how great this place is... i enjoyed my stay a lot! Not only was the room super comfortable but Mr Leng and his wife are also amazing hosts!! Their hospitality is beyond great, they're so genuine, helpful, incredibly kind and literally have the warmest heart! It realllyy felt like home! Oh and there's a nice rooftop with a bar as well, Mr. Leng makes the best cocktails!!! You guys are going to LOVE IT! I can't recommend this place enough

Probably the best place we stayed at in Asia so far. The owner is friendly and can even speak French. The room was very clean and everything was working properly. The location is quiet and 5 min away from supermarket and city center.

We don't plan to go to Kampot, but it happened when we felt bored at home after workdays. We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.
