Even before I arrived the host messaged me and helped me get the bus from Anuradhapura, then arranged a tuktuk when I missed the stop. A tasty dinner was provided even though the restaurant was closed due to Poya Day. Advice about safaris, then safari was booked at short notice. A packed breakfast was provided for the early start. I was planning on taking a train onwards to Mannar, but he called and checked and found out it was cancelled, then helped me with bus arrangements, and flagging it down. This place was a great base for Wilpattu safaris, affordable, clean, and a friendly family. And a beautiful sunset!

Wonderful stay with Gihan and Dinu! We stayed twice for a total of 7 nights. A wonderful, authentic experience in Sri Lanka. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They speak English very well, and we were able to take the time to ask questions and discuss many topics such as culture, sports, politics, food, customs, etc. This allowed us to better understand this country. They truly care about their guests, making sure we have everything we need and giving great tips for visiting the city and its surroundings. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner if needed (we recommend trying it at least once because it's delicious). We did the cooking program, which involves buying ingredients at the market and then cooking together. It was great to see all the flavors they add to the dishes we enjoyed afterwards. They know a contact for a safari in Wilpattu National Park and can help organize it. Regarding the accommodation, it's located on a very quiet alley. There's a kitchen available and a pleasant terrace overlooking the small garden. The rooms are well-equipped and pleasant. We recommend a stay here for a wonderful human experience. Very nice shower, better than what I have at home. Silent airconditioning. Not cheap but worth the price because of the quality of the rooms. Extra will be breakfast 1200,diner 1500, softdrinks 300-500. Food good though. Contact with the manager only by phone, that's a pity, contact with the local family who takes care of the accommodation and food is very good, though little English.

Great location next to the entrance to wilpattu national park. You can take a nice stroll next to the lake from here as well. The hosts are very inviting and make it feel like a home stay. Dinner is served at the cabin and its decent quality and a reasonable price. Ask for pancakes at breakfast, they are really good.

The property is surrounded by nature, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and a lovely view of the garden. What really made this stay unforgettable was the hospitality. Kalhara and his wife are truly amazing people – always available, always smiling, and genuinely eager to help with anything. They even arranged a massage and a delicious homemade dinner for us, which we enjoyed under the stars. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine made with love. Every detail was taken care of, and we felt more like guests in a family home than in a hotel. We can’t thank our hosts enough for such a beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Habarana and Hurulu eco park, don’t miss the chance to stay here – it’s a hidden gem filled with warmth, kindness, and unforgettable memories.

Dobrá lokalita na výlety, přístup provozujícího a personálu, možnost večeřet na místě. Mají dobré večeře. Super mít bazén k dispozici. Velkým plusem byla opravdu ochota personálu a domluvení soukromého transferu, protože jsme nemohli sehnat jiného řidiče.. byl tu státní svátek.

The breakfast was huge and very good. Actually it was like staying in your home. I highly recommend this resort.

Příjemné přivítání. Jedna se o pár, který pronajímá pokoje ve svém domě. Majitel nás ráno odvezl tuktukem na Sigirii abychom stihli výhod slunce. Na cestu nám zabalil snídani.
