The owner was very welcoming and helpful since our arrival, he helped us organize all our excursions and he gave us great recommendations on where to go. We had an issue with the air conditioning in one of our rooms and he fixed it immediately. The breakfast was very good as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

They arranged for us a guide, kept our TukTuk secured and clean, and went the extra mile to support us during the power outage. Also, definitely join them for some dinner, it’s by far some of the best food we’ve had so far!
