It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

They booked a safari in Wilpattu only 1.5 days before our arrival and everything was very well organised. The safari itself was much better than expected: we had the luck to see 4 leopards, a sloth bear and 4 golden jackals, on top of many beautiful birds and reptiles. The resort provided breakfast and lunch to take on the safari, as well as snacks and drinks. Everything was very tasty and plenty. Also breakfast and dinners were very tasty and more than we could eat. All in all, we had a very good stay. Thanks so much!!!!

Pobyt w tym hotelu przewyższył moje oczekiwania! Jeżeli nie masz planu na zwiedzanie Habarany i okolic, nie martw się, właściciel pomoże Ci wszystko zorganizować. Właściciel to niesamowicie ciepła osoba :) Zorganizował nam safari, pływaliśmy łódką po jeziorze, byliśmy na show tanecznym i jedliśmy lokalne jedzenie. Dodatkowo w hotelu można zjeść pyszne jedzenie gotowane przez żonę właściciela :) Zarówno śniadania i kolacje bardzo urozmaicone! Pokoje były czyste i przestronne. Łóżko bardzo wygodne i nie było owadów w środku. Na zewnątrz pięknie i dodatkowo właściciel pokazał nam owoce, które hoduję w ogrodzie. Polecam :)

There were a few hiccups, but the outstanding staff addressed everything immediately. Everything I tried on the menu was delicious. There isn’t a lot to do in Habarana, but it’s a great location to stay if you want to visit the cave temple, Sigiriya, Miniriya and Polonnaruwa. The first three are less than 30 mins away. Polonnaruwa was a fast hour.

We had a wonderful stay at Sweet Home Tourist Rest, Cooking Classes & Tours. The comfort level was top-notch — everything was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room came with its own living room, making it feel like a full apartment rather than just a guest room. For a very reasonable price, we had a completely private space to ourselves, which we really appreciated. The location is also ideal — the area is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Nilukshan, who organized some truly extraordinary tours for us, including the Wilpattu safari, and visits to Anuradhapura and Mihintale. Each one was memorable and perfectly arranged, giving us deep insights into the history and beauty of the region. We also took part in a cooking class conducted by Malsha, which was another highlight of our stay. The class was hands-on, fun, and absolutely delicious — we learned a lot and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — it’s more than just accommodation, it’s an experience!

Obiekt Habarana Dulwan Guest House położony jest w miejscowości Habarana i oferuje bezpłatne Wi-Fi, ogród z tarasem oraz widok na miasto. Everything, you reach the place and you know immediately that you will have a great time and you will chill. Hosts are amazing, helpful they guy took me to sigiriya with his tuk tuk for a very cheap price. They will help you with everything since they speak very good English and they are amazing people. The room was huge woth 3 beds, super clean, smells unbelievable and it has sockets plugs, hot water and a table to put your luggage so you don't habe to bend. AC is provided. Bathroom was also big and clean. I loved the outside area with all these wood chairs tables and sofas. The breakfast was very good and a big portion. I wish I could have stayed longer since it's a place you can relax and enjoy. Habarana is so authentic and not touristic, nice people, friendly and affordable place to stay and I definitely suggest spending a few days here.
