Our stay was nothing short of amazing. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 From the moment we arrived, I knew this place was special. The design of the cabanas is thoughtful and beautiful, the gardens lush and calming. Everything looked brand new, clean, well-maintained. Beds were super comfy, bathrooms excellent, plenty of space to breathe and unwind. The pool—two of them!—were exactly what I needed for a peaceful swim and to cool off. Breakfast was a highlight: generous, fresh, tasty, with enough variety that every morning felt like a treat. Location is perfect: tucked away enough for quiet and relaxation, but close enough to Rekawa Beach for beautiful walks and turtle watching . But what really made the stay special was Madura. Thoughtful, hospitable, always on point. Couldn't ask for a better host. He made sure everything ran smoothly, checked in just at the right times, gave helpful suggestions for things to do, Really appreciated his warmth. If you’re looking for a serene, well-designed escape, with excellent food, cleanliness, and superb hospitality — this is it. Don’t worry about the service, they’ve got it totally covered. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

We had a really wonderful stay here at this little haven in Tangalle! The location is perfect, just a 2 min walk from the beach, yet you feel hidden away in a little jungle paradise. Agra was the kindest host, she was so thoughtful, bringing us a fresh fruit snack in the afternoon, and always on hand with a smile to help with anything. The room was a really good size, and unbelievable value for money - highly recommend staying here!

I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

We extended our stay for more nights because this place is so wonderful. We loved every single detail here - the rooms are clean and chill thanks to A/C. There is water, tea, coffee and water boiler in the room. You get fresh juice, refreshing towel and flower necklace when you arrive. The tables are also decorated with flowers and there were so many different things on the menu which you can order here. And the food, rice and curry, was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Same with the breakfast so it was also our favourite. You can get also really good coffee here! The nature around is beautiful and they are taking so good care of the plants and animals. We saw for example giant squirrel and so many beautiful birds during our stay. It’s nice to swim at the Rock Pool Beach, which is close. We have travelled a lot and this is the only place we can really say feels like home. The most important thing which makes this place so special are the people - special thanks to Dalu and Chami. They are the most friendly and helpful people, we had a great time with them. They make this place a paradise where you want to return again and again.

The owner was very kind, he even took us nearby with his car to watch some crocodiles. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. He arranged a morning safari for us, with a good driver who explained a lot of things about the animals.

The air conditioner was cold, the water hot, the pool refreshing, the view spectacular, breakfast delicious and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
