The Inn At Matale, a property with a garden, is situated in Matale, 35 km from Bogambara Stadium, 36 km from Kandy railway station, as well as 36 km from Kandy Museum. Great, very clean place located directly at the Main Street between Matale and Dambulla. Very friendly owner and above-average breakfast with best latte we have had in Sri Lanka.

Boasting mountain views, Paradise Forest Garden features accommodation with pool with a view and a balcony, around 35 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. It turned out that we were the only guests, and we felt like really special ones. We were welcomed with fresh juice and a nice conversation by two lovely waiters/kitchen chefs. The view is amazing—better than in the photos. Breakfast was delicious. Our room had a cute balcony on the back side, and it was super quiet. The room was clean, and the staff were really attentive. They helped us organize a tuk-tuk to the city and arranged a car to take us on a full-day trip with a few stops along the way.

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing experience, beautiful location, wonderful staff, excellent service, lovely staff, relaxing peaceful place, they arranged kandy city tour for me by tuktuk, delicious food. I would love to go there again. comfortable stay, extremely clean.
