The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

We reached the hotel too early in the morning (it was around 7 a.m.) and the guy who was at the reception was super kind and went to clean and prepare the room for us. It was amazing experience and it helped us to survive the long trin that we had. MANY THANKS!

Everything! The breakfast was amazing, there were two couches to chill on and sun beds and the pool was nice and everything was just so accommodating and lovely. We mostly stayed in cheaper places in Sri Lanka but decided to try this one because it looked amazing and it was absolutely worth the money! I really enjoyed staying there.

We stayed 3 nights at Simoya. Madhu and Sanjee were very welcoming and nothing was too much bother. The room was to a high standard and had everything you needed, including a fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was huge but very tasty and we also ate dinner there for all 3 of the nights we stayed. In all honesty, Im not sure where else we could have eaten in the local area which was at the same quality as Madhu and Sanjee's cooking. We went to the top of Pidurangala rock for an extra fee at sunrise which was well worth the money. We also paid Sanjee for a transfer to Kandy which was at a reasonable rate. Both Sanjee and Madhu were perfect hosts and really lovely people. The one thing I would say that I have found throughout Sri Lanka is to check costs before agreeing to things but that advice goes throughout and everything additional we paid for we felt was worth the money.

Large, comfy room for us and our three teenage sons. Sundan was very friendly and helpful. He arranged tuk tuks for us to go to Pidurangala rock for the sunrise and showed us lots of other options for things to do. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing - presented beautifully and incredible flavours. Great location, close to Lion rock and just a short walk from town. Cute puppy at the hotel. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The host and his family could not do enough to make our stay so very special. A welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch after travelling and very much appreciated. The food is exceptional and home cooked at a very good price including curry and rice (4 types of curry) or kottu roti or fried rice. Breakfast is amazing - Omelette, pancake with coconut and honey and fruit with a choice of a pot of coffee or tea. The room is a very good space and has a lovely outside seating area to while away the day or evening. Good location for Lion Rock and there is a local community shop 4 minutes away for convenience goods. The whole experience is in the name - Relax Nature. A very calming, tranquil and peaceful location with excellent service and attention provided by the host. Very highly recommended..

The service was outstanding. As a solo traveler they made sure that I felt safe and well taken care of. Even driving me to Lions Rock at 5am so I could hike up and see the sunrise. Great food, proactive and excellent service. I really felt like I was in good hands. Super comfy bed. Cute garden. Quiet but just a short walk away from the town. This should be a three start property.
