The location is close to Sigiriya Rock and even has a view of the rock from the dining area.

The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!

Everything! The breakfast was amazing, there were two couches to chill on and sun beds and the pool was nice and everything was just so accommodating and lovely. We mostly stayed in cheaper places in Sri Lanka but decided to try this one because it looked amazing and it was absolutely worth the money! I really enjoyed staying there.

My partner and I received exceptional personal service from Sanjay and his wife Madhu who own Simoya, with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast on the balcony that overlooks the jungle with its monkeys, squirrels and other wildlife was a fantastic experience, with the traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts that the couple served us each morning absolutely delicious. Sanjay even made some phone calls to find out where I could get a spare part for my rental car. It was a great relaxing and refreshing stay!

Located close to the road in walking distance to central part of Sigiriya town, but very quiet and peaceful. No noise from road or cafes, and sound insulation between rooms is good. People working here are very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious and clean, AC worked good. The territory is beautiful with pond and greenery. Breakfast is also tasty and beautifully served.

This place was the perfect retreat for 4 nights. Quiet and comfortable, the location was lovely. The hosts were absolutely amazing and the included breakfast was delightful. We chose to have dinner 4 nights in a row, choosing their vegetarian rice & curry as it was both delicious and very affordable compared to other restaurants in the area. The hosts were lovely, helpful, and always quick to respond to any of our questions, including arranging an early morning tuktuk for us. The wifi was functional for basic searches, but we recommend having some books to read to truly indulge in the experience. We definitely recommend staying here!

Jeep tour to the elephants was very impressive. The elephant families were 5 to 10 meters away from the jeep.... Without being disturbed. He also had a few other good ideas about what to do in the area. Breakfast very good and plenty. Absolute recommendation

Ashoka was a wonderful host, so helpful, made excellent food, helped with our itinerary and dropped us off at the bus station and helped us get on the right bus. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable.
