It's a bit out of the way, but it was totally worth the 1.3km walk from the train station. Spacious incredibly clean room, Superb common bathroom, an extra toilet in case somebody takes their time, exceptionally well equipped kitchen, very good WiFi, and yeah.....that huge beautiful garden with a number of sitting areas, really was the cherry on top of the cake. Which I had had one more day here. Now, when I have been to many other places in Latvia, I really appreciate this place more and more. Good WiFi, which also worked in parts of the garden.

Calm location for listening the welcome rain in the middle of a hot summer. Being in the middle of forest even the forecasted winds mostly skipped the tranquil yard. Good breakfast, although it would be more ecological to ask about dietary restrictions before offering sausages. Well, the owner appeared to have some pets, although didn't spot them outside in the rainy weather, so guess the parts not eaten found some other use. Would also recommend the location for family events (if properly arranged with the owner well in advance). Building itself was actually best example of properly done masonry I have seen in Latvia, thanks for restoring my belief in properly built buildings still existing :-)
