The riad is absolutely lovely — perfectly painted in blue, blending beautifully with its surroundings. The moment I saw it, I thought wow, it looks exactly like the pictures! Inside, it’s spotless and tastefully designed — modern yet with an authentic Moroccan touch. The room is a little on the smaller side, but it didn’t bother me at all — it’s cozy, comfortable, and well equipped with everything I needed. The bathroom, on the other hand, is surprisingly spacious! My favourite moment each day was breakfast. Since the riad is located on a hill, you get an impeccable view overlooking the Blue City while enjoying a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — truly unforgettable. The location is fantastic: not too central (so it’s peaceful and quiet) yet still super convenient. The street itself is charming. What really made my stay special was the host, Taufik. He’s incredibly friendly and responsive. He even welcomed me personally at the meeting point and guided me all the way to the riad — just like a good friend would. He made sure I felt comfortable and at home throughout my stay. Indeed, this riad truly felt like my home in the charming Chefchaouen.

The property was absolutely beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. When I shared pictures of it with friends and family, they were in awe. And I don’t think the staff could be any nicer from dinner reservations to transportation back to Tanger to helping me find where to buy a bottle of wine. There is a fourth story rooftop patio with 360° views of the city and the mountains. I wanted to take a photo of everything in this property. It also had a very comfortable shower with a rain showerhead and plenty of hot water.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and the room felt cozy and comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The hospitality was next-level. The staff were warm and attentive, and what made it extra special was that the owner himself personally picked us up and dropped us off — a rare and thoughtful touch. The food? Exquisite. Even a simple dinner felt romantic thanks to the ambiance they created, with soft music and a peaceful setting that made the evening feel magical. As someone who loves nature and hiking, I truly appreciated the location — yes, it’s up in the mountains, but that’s what makes it so special. If you’re a nature lover looking for serenity, this is the perfect escape.

Spent nights trying to find best spot for sunsets, only to discover the seating area on this rooftop one of the best spots. Staff helpful, great room, no ce bathroom, excellent location next to creek, shared kitchen adequate.
