I absolutely loved my stay at this riad. I was in room No. 2 which had a fantastic view of the ocean. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed – they greeted me with Moroccan mint tea and cookies and took me up to the rooftop, which overlooks the sea. My room was beautifully decorated, and while I could hear the wind, it actually added to the charm. One of the highlights was when I mentioned wanting to explore. A staff member kindly offered to show me around the nearby fish market, guiding me through hidden alleyways I might’ve missed or assumed were off-limits. This thoughtful gesture gave me a deeper, more authentic experience that I’m so grateful for. I truly can’t recommend this place highly enough. The location made it easy to get around – Google Maps took me right back to the riad each time, and there are amazing restaurants, unique shops, and lively markets nearby. The only thing I missed in the room was a luggage rack to place my suitcase on. Space is a bit tight in this room and that would help. I hope to make it back here again one day.

Arriver à l'Ibi surfhouse c'est comme arriver chez vous. C'est à taille humaine, les chambres ont tout ce qu'il faut. Ibrahim est adorable, attentionné et hyper accessible. Nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour Sidi Kaouki et l'endroit où nous avons logé n'y est pas pour rien. Merci Ibrahim et à tes collègues ! On reviendra. Charlotte et Lara

The place is just like the pictures. It's amazing if you are looking for a quiet and chill place. The rooms are spacious, the pool area and garden are stunning, and there's even a communal kitchen and living room. We arrived way later than we were hoping, but Simon arranged for someone to open the garage and give us the keys without any issues. Breakfast was great and we really enjoyed our time there, it was as peaceful as we wanted.

The Tamayourt is a secluded Riad about 10 minutes drive from Essaouira. Everything about this place is perfect. Quiet, incredible, friendly and attentive staff, especially the owner Maryam who is a ray of sunshine, exceedingly helpful and an amazing chef. The days we ate here all day were the best food we had on our whole trip. The garden and art pieces are stunning, and the heated pool has been the best swims we’ve had. As hard workers, we wanted a total relaxation of a holiday and Tamayourt provided that and more.
