Giancarlo was a great host. Super nice and lots of good advice and recommendations. 2. I had the smaller room with a shared bathroom. But it was shared with Giancarlo, so it was always clean ... almost like having all to myself. 3. Overall, very comfortable and conveniently located. If I visit Gozo again, will stay here again.

Run by 2 sisters, Maria Giovanna Guest House takes its name from their mother and grandmother who managed the property before them. One of the sisters is a pastry chef and prepares homemade cakes for breakfast each morning. This place is magnetic, not only because of good location, beautiful and vintage interior, perfect breakfast (omg, this banana bread, avocado toast...it was sooo goood), but the first reason, why this place is calling you to come back is people. From the moment you're entering you can feel, that here the owners are happy for you and will take care of you. Sonia is charmful, she has a real passion for this job. Even the way she speaks with you about breakfast time and rules makes you feel loved. Top service level, our best choice for this trip was to stay in this wonderful place.

It is clean, peaceful, and offers good value for money. The owner, David, is very polite and welcoming, and provides his phone number in case you need anything.
