I came early in the morning and the staff checked me in without problems. I stayed there for 3 nights and two of them I was alone in the whole room. It was like a private bedroom for me. Free coffee is available here. The buses are not far from the hostel

As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

A couple of new build rooms with a courtyard garden with tables and hammocks. All immaculately kept, and the room was cleaned every day. Powerful hot shower. And the kitchen and dining area were more than adequate. Magnolia is a lovely host, very welcoming and helpful. Good value for money. Great location, 15 mins walking distance to two good cove beaches and others not much further.

The place was located in really beautiful neighborhood with beautiful views on mountains, near by is the national park of Benito Juarez. The neighborhood is calm and quietThe host were really amazing. Family who owns it very helpful and welcoming we felt like in home. They treated us with homemade hot chocolate typical from Oaxaca. I recommend to everyone

The staff were lovely, especially Dray at the front desk. Within 10-15 min walk to both playa Manzanillo and Playa Carrizalillo. And 10-15 min walk to the main beach. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the staff’s attitude to sincerely want to please us! It was impressive, almost to the point of watching the run to get the soda or drink requested. The food was very tasty and fresh.
