Firstly, the location is in a bit of an industrial area, so it feels a bit grungy and the sidewalks are broken. But the hostel itself is fantastic. It has a pool, a nice kitchen, good places to hang out. And the rooms (although some guests like to use their phones without pods or headphones) are great. Private. Shower was really good. And the rooms are nice and cool. Staff were really nice as well.

Breakfast was included with our stay and they insisted on waking up early to prepare it even though we had to wake up early to drop off our rental car in Cancun. Parking is on the property behind a closed gate. I would definitely stay here again.

Casona del Negro Aguilar heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras in Valladolid. We stayed 3 nights and I would happily stay a month! Casona is in a great location 1 block from the square, 1 block from the ADO station, and surrounded by local shops and restaurants. Valladolid is a charming town and the family who owns this hotel is welcoming and kind. The hotel is clean and spacious. If isn't new or fancy, but it is authentic and one of my favorite places we've ever stayed. My family of 5 stayed in the "family room with balcony," which is 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a common room, with a balcony and access to a beautiful outdoor shared kitchen. The common room windows in the apartment face the road, which was never too loud. The shared outdoor kitchen was clean and well maintained, bananas, toast, instant coffee, and jam were available anytime. The bathrooms had newly installed on demand hot water heaters and had good water pressure. The air-conditioning and fans worked in both bedrooms. Pool was small but clean. The family offered us recommendations and were very helpful. 10/10 recommend Casona if you're in Valladolid!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad, schone kamer en prima ontbijt. Auto mocht op de parkeerplaats van de eigenaresse. Tegenover is een plein met food trucks waar het ‘s avonds gezellig is. Goede airco. Echt een aanrader!!!
