Among the many wonderful accomodations on Waiheke Island, we chose Wild Thyme because they gave detailed information about the location and facilities, which made it easy for us to imagine what our stay would be like. AND Wild Thyme was PERFECT in every way! The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and were spotlessly clean. The view from the terrace was breathtaking, while the place is located in a convenient area, shops and the beach of Onorea within walking distance. Most of all, Jules and Bruce were great hosts, being attentive and kind. It is all thanks to their welcome, my parents and I truly enjoyed an unforgettable vacation. Another BIG attraction is Jule's Wine Tour! The information is also written on the notebook provided in your room. I highly recommend it to anyone considering staying here. She asked us about our wine preferences in advance and came up with the Perfect plan. We visited Allpress Olive Groves, Tantalus, Man O'War+lunch, Waiheke Gin Distillery and Passage Rock. It may have been partly because it was winter and the wineries were quiet, but Jules arranged with the winery staff to grant our selfish request to try wines(bubbles!) that were not on the regular tasting menu! She even arranged for us to taste limited edition gin at the distillery. She took us to hard-to-reach places in the east and south of the island, such as ManO'War and Passage Rock, where we enjoyed not only the drinks but also the charms of the island as a whole. It's only been a week since I returned home, but I already feel a strong desire to go back.

Very friendly and helpful with all enquiries, lovely heritage hotel with lots of things to do and nice restaurants and shops within walking distance

Bavaria Boutique Hotel se nachází v blízkosti hory Eden, pouhých 7 minut od aucklandské čtvrti CBD. It’s very cozy, for me felt like home away from home. Travelling so far away from home, this house and its hosts made me feel welcomed and comfortable. It’s located very close to the center but away from the noise and busy streets. Has a big supermarket around the corner and great food/restaurants open. Then, as a tourist, you can pick up location of Cordis hotel for drop offs/pick up, takes 5 min by Uber. Kerri the live in host has been friendly, helpful, flexible and overall made the stay an amazing experience. Thank you!
