Fort Guesthouse is located close to the Mutrah Souq (5min walk), we enjoyed the tranquility and good service. We stayed here for the second time during our roadtrip. Highly recommended!

Rooms are in a big spacious cool house, very clean, comfortable, with fridge, table, chairs, cupboard and a good size bathroom, and it's quiet. Opening windows are great when you dont want air-con. Wifi is excellent. To pay for breakfast is available. And there's a washing machine for use free of charge, which was very helpful. The owners are very friendly, kind, and helpful. The location is good, near restaurants, grocery store, bakery and a short taxi ride to the Qaboos mosque and the Azaiba bus station. Also not far from the airport. They also accepted to store my luggage. I highly recommend and I will return.

From the very beginning our host Haroun was generous with his time and accomodating our request for an extra two days. This was a last minute change to our trip and it was amazing how quick his response time was. The quant fishing village of Qantab is a place which feels like the Mediterranean in the Middle East. The village has a supermarket for most of your needs and is still very close and accessible to Muscat. The room itself was clean with all electronics and airconditioning working perfectly. It was easily one of our best stays this year and I would recommend it without hesitation to all. The only point to note would be to have a vehicle to get around.

I loved the privacy and comfort of this apartment, I felt much more free than in a hotel. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes from Al Mouj Marina and 10 minutes from the airport, with lots of cafés and restaurants around. Communication with the host was very easy, and they were super kind and helpful. All was clean and new. I will definitely stay here again for longer time. It is also good for groups, as there are other independent rooms around.
