Naqeeb is very accommodating, friendly and can connect you with local guides or provide information on some hiking destinations, especially in Barah Valley where he is from. He is knowledgeable of the surrounding area such as restaurants, best shops, transportation, etc. Also stayed at this same place after a multi day hike to Moses Peak. Went to Astore for a few days and came back here before my flight out of Skardu.

We got free breakfast in our room as per our schedule, the owner Shabbir was the kindest and made all the efforts to make our stay comfortable. The view was amazing, the owner had his own cars, that too on a reasonable rates so we never had to run after any driver or tour guide. Will again choose the same resort for my stay!

We stayed at Northlanders for 3 nights, and it was an amazing experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. The room was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful, it honestly felt like staying in a 5-star hotel. The owner Sikandar bhai was a great person and always replied quickly whenever I texted him. The food was delicious! Haider bhai was very kind and helpful, even when I asked for tea late at night, he always provided it with a smile. He is also an excellent cook, and his Chicken Karahi became our favorite. Haider bhai kindness and smile is true reflection of their culture. Mehadi bhai was also wonderful. He arranged a car for us and was very cooperative throughout our trip. He helped us find good shopping areas and even waited patiently for hours (4-5 hrs) with a friendly smile. We always found him supportive and helpful. A big thank you to Haider bhai, Mehadi bhai, and Sikandar bhai. You all are amazing! Whether someone is traveling alone or with family, I would 100% recommend Northlanders. They make you feel safe, cared for, and right at home. We’ll definitely come back next year, there’s no place better than this!

Welcome Rose Tea, help with SIM card and took me to the trailhead and pickup too, Served wonderful local veg curry for dinner and special rolled omelette for breakfast. Room was spotless, spacious, and better finished than most. Hot water and good electrics appreciated. Dining area under apple and cherry trees and a lovely family atmosphere.

Everything about this guest house is amazing from the location of the guest house it is near in Mathal Buddah Rock and has a very good mountain view from your windows to the balcony and from the rooftop. And regarding to the price it is very cheap almost unreasonable for a very good and quality room with hot water in the shower 👏. The building is surrounded by beautiful flowers and fruit bearing trees. And lastly special recognition and thankful for Siraj the host of the guest house. He was really kind and caring for his guest from the airport he can pick you up and you don't need to worry about your itinerary because he can arrange everything.
