Boasting a shared lounge, Solar dos Poetas is a guest house situated in a historic building in the centre of Lisbon, close to Dona Maria II National Theatre. The property has river and city views, and is less than 1 km from Commerce Square. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. Great location! Within walking distance to many tourist sites. I had a room with a view of the historic square. The room was gorgeous and good-sized for a European hotel. Wonderful and very helpful staff (thank you all and in particular for offering to carry my luggage downstairs even without being asked!) A very delicious breakfast with lots of options (tons of fresh fruits and yummy pastries!) served in a large room with a view of the square and with live piano music! The taxi transportation from and to the airport was worth the money (roughly $38) Bruno, a kind and knowledgeable gentleman, explained the history of Lisbon and was helpful! His brother, who took me back to the airport was as kind and as helpful, carrying my bags to the departure terminal and showing me where I had to go! I will go back again and again to this hotel.
Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon
Enjoying a privileged location in the historic center of Lisbon, the property is a former palace whose construction dates back to the 16th century. This boutique hotel combines modern comfort with a classic atmosphere. The ambiance and the room was amazing! The location was convenient and central. We liked the breakfast - live music, fresh food! We didn’t realize that there was a spa, so a great surprise! The property had all the amenities. I would definitely come back
Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon
The comfortable rooms feature a rainfall shower, free toiletries, hair dryer, air conditioning, desk and a flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available and the cosy terrace outside is ideal for warm evenings. Some of the rooms offer a view overlooking the garden. Everything. The local is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and clean, breakfast was amazing (highlight to Natalia, a Brazilian who worked that and made everything as perfect as possible), and the staff was welcoming. Also, the fact that there was water downstairs at any time was very thoughtful.

Rossio is a 5-minute walk, while the lively bars of Bairro Alto are at a short walking distance. Excellent staff they make you feel welcome, they make sure that your stay is pleasant, they are so helpful and lovable. Our room was a bit small but cozy they make sure you have all the essential. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, Tv, kitchenette, coffee everyday. Good location there’s restaurants, souvenirs shops, convinces store close by. I have nothing bad to say about our stay at Anjo Azul. On my behalf they are highly recommended. And would stay here again.

Baixa / Chiado, Lisbon
Located in Lisbon’s historical Pombaline Downtown, Augusta is an elegant boutique guesthouse which not only offers 12 spacious rooms, but also a rooftop where you can have a nice Portuguese wine, or just simply contemplate the busy life of one of the most charismatic streets of Lisbon. Location location location right in the heart of the gorgeous historic district of Lisbon you literally walk out the door and you are on the main promenade busting with cafes and shops that lead you down to the main square by the sea and all points of anywhere you want to go. We took a walking tour on day 1 which I highly recommend as a great way to get orientated and a feel for where you are. We walked everywhere from the hotel day and night. We also easily found the trams which we took to Belem and the train station which we took the train for a day trip to Sintra. We found cute cafes, restaurants (there are several plant based vegan restaurants plus most will cater for vegetarians and vegans alike), shops and just watched Lisbon go by at times. There are many squares of different sizes each with their own unique story and statues. The hotel was very accommodating with information and the rooftop breakfast was an absolute delight. There is a lift however we took the stairs up and down never used the lift as we want to keep fit even when traveling. Every morning we went upstairs from the 4th to 6th floor to the rooftop deck where other travellers were also gathering before heading out for the day. One thing to note is the hotel does not have 24 hour staff however the building is very secure and your card lets you in after the last staff leaves which is around 11pm. After our long days out exploring we were always back while staff still at front desk The rooftop scene is such a surprise for first time visitors, we loved it and the breakfast was thoughtful and catered to individual needs. Indeed, the morning we departed Lisbon for an early train to Lagos, the hotel staff had left a thoughtful takeaway bag of breakfast on our door. We eat a plant based diet and they created delicious breakfasts for us every morning and in the bag we found plant based yogurts, apples and other goodies, such a lovely lovely surprise for a day of travel. A delightful spot to stay.

Perfect for my first night in Lisbon! A guesthouse but with the style & friendliness of a boutique hostell. Charming sitting areas, kitchen & garden. Really appreciated bejng able to check in up to midnight. Bathrobe & slippers was a nice touch, and the bathrooms were spotless.
Great location, close to the city Center and bars and restaurants but the street of the hostel was quiet. Decent breakfast and nice shared spaces.
+ great apartments + great view + great host management, attention to every detail + great location (city center, public transport, the shop nearby, local restaurants, etc.)
Great location out of the city center, but with many restaurants around. Sofia is a great hostess. The house is a modern attic
Great location, great hosts. The place was clean and nice with a complimentary bottle of wine to stat the day right. The center of Cascais is walking distance, while the place itself is very calm and quaint. Lot's of activities (table tennis, pool, trampoline, old-timey foosball etc) available.
It was easy to find, thanks to clear instructions, and the host was helpful with bag storage and early check-in. The location was perfect for getting around - a 5-minute walk to the main square and waterfront, as well as a full range of public transport nearby. Great restaurant on the doorstep. The facilities were straightforward, as befits an old house in the old quarter. It was charming, quiet, clean - and good value. Lisbon isn't cheap!
