Lea, made us a tasty breakfast each morning and shared much for our interests and showed us the other buildings where events are held on the property. Amazing. And Peter helped us get settled in the 1st evening and helped us feel comfortable. We had the large room up the winding staircase. So big and beautiful. Definitely recommend

Hotel SAMARIN Črnomelj presenta una sala comune, una terrazza, un ristorante e un bar a Črnomelj. The room was very spacious, clean, modern and we felt like at home. The bathroom was very nice, beautifully designed and warm. They were changing our towels regularly even when we didn't put them on the floor. Plus, all the towels and linen smelled amazing. We visited in December and the owner made sure our room was already nice and warm when we arrived, which is a huge plus. The staff was always kind and helpful, their coffee is delicious and we could also use the sauna. There is also a nice balcony. It was a very pleasant experience.

Had a really thoughtful conversation with the owner about the history of the area, who was able to share perspectives of Slovenians who stayed in the region after WWII. (My family emigrated from a neighboring town to the US after the war) After visiting this gorgeous place, it was easy to see why my grandfather missed his homeland so much.
